An academician par excellence having a total teaching experience of well over 34 years, including that of a post-graduate teacher for well over two decades and administrative experience of the similar period.
She happens to be the first lady professional in the State of Maharashtra to be appointed as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of a statutory University (DMIMS (DU), Wardha). She has been the Director Professor, Department of Physiology, Jawarharlal Nehru Medical College, Sawangi Meghe, Wardha, a constituent unit of Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences.
She is designated as IMA Honorary Professor by the National Headquarter of IMA, New Delhi, and is also conferred with the title of Professor Emeritus by Bareilly International University, Uttar Pradesh.
Global Bioethics Leadership
She has been designated as the National Head of Allied Sciences Bioethics programme of UNESCO Chair, Haifa and has been instrumental in the invocation of Bioethics Programmes across the streams of Allied Sciences including Para-Medical, Ayurvedic, Pharmaceutical, and Nursing Sciences.

- National Women Empowerment Award (2018): Instituted by National IMA Woman Doctor Wing.

- Honorary Fellowships: Conferred by the International Institute of Organizational Psychological Medicine (USA, UK, Australia, India) and the Indian Medical Association.
Apart from being a keen academician and an astute administrator, her area of keen interest is Student Welfare—resulting in the overall transformation of a learner into a keen professional, good citizen, and a meaningful human being. She took charge as the Vice Chancellor of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth “Deemed To Be University”, Karad w.e.f. 11.02.2020.
